Freeland Community Hub
Working to save our Chapel as a Community Hub
Freeland Community Hub has a mission to strengthen social interaction and enhance the overall wellbeing of our local community through a new community-owned village hub. The former Methodist Church (‘The Chapel’) has been identified as ideal for this purpose, but following its closure in 2018, only came up for sale in Spring 2025. On 27 August, we heard our offer for the building had been accepted. We are currently working through contracts and hope to complete the purchase in early 2026.
