Auction of Promises
It has now been decided to hold the planned Auction of Promises entirely on line, there will thus be no physical auction in the village hall.
By doing so we should be able to reach a much wider audience and raise more funds. We are using a successful internet progrmme for the auction – www.auctionofpromises.com. Please visit this site to view auctions already in progress as well as the information available.
The auction is planned to start on Saturday November 1st and will run until Saturday November 14th. So far we have 24 promises but need far more to make the event a success. Please do consider
what Promise or gift you can contribute. Please contact either Graham or Ria Lay to contribute a promise. We will send you a form that must be completed to enable us to enter the promise into the auction. Examples of the Promises made so far include:
- Rides (3 off) in a classic Morgan car
- Wool spinning course
- Cat sitting for a weekend
- Framed rugby shirts
- Knife sharpening course for two people
- Indoor air quality assessment
- Food voucher at Eynsham Market
- Piano Lessons
- Introduction to digital photography
- Introduction to 3D printing
