Santa Fun Run, 13 December!

Bring your red hat and running shoes to our fun 5k or 2.5k run, meeting at the Chapel, running around the lovely Eynsham Park Estate, and finishing with a hot chocolate or mulled wine with Yorkshire wraps or mince pies!

Here’s what you need to know.

Come along to the Chapel (OX29 8AQ) for 12.30pm on Saturday 13 November to register. There’s a short form and waiver to complete and you’ll get a number. There’s no fixed entry fee – just donations by cash or card. Remember to wear a hat (we’ll be selling them if you forget), or the full outfit if you’re bold! Reindeer and dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads at all times…

The race starts at 1pm or shortly after at the Freeland House driveway. You will all be guided across the road to the start. The long ‘Full Santa’ course is 5km (red route below), with two circuits of the large field then finishing at the Freeland playing field. The short ‘Little Elf’ course is 2.5km (green route below), including one circuit around the field and finishing at the same place as the start.

The event will be marshalled at the road crossing between the garden nursery entrance and the Chapel to ensure safety. A safety plan will be in place to ensure a fun, energetic event for all.

The Oxfordshire Yeoman will be laying on food and drink to help you recover. So pop over and refuel on hot chocolate, mulled wine, Yorkshire wraps and mince pies. There’ll be Christmas music and we even heard a whisper about a …reindeer? Surely not!
